One of the things I look forward to the MOST in the fall is that I get to start wearing all of my boots. I LOVE boots! They just make you feel fabulous and confident even when you are not feeling the best (ahem, fat days!). I am scared to even count how many boots I own, but more is more, right?! I think every woman needs to have the following in her boot wardrobe:
1.) Uggs – Yes they are ugly, but-oh-so functional and comfortable. I even have the two boys in my life (my son and fiance) converted to wearing Uggs! (They would kill me if they knew I posted that). Must have for the ladies: tall Uggs (for skinny jeans and leggings), short Uggs (for under pants) and slippers (to wear around the house)!
2.) Riding boots – These are your every day work horse boots. They are flat and comfy so you can wear them all day. But their slim fit makes your legs look skinny and sexy!
3.) Rain Boots – Hunters. Enough said.
4.) Dress Boots - Must be knee high or over the knee, fitted and high heeled. Parfay for skinny jeans or with a sweater dress. I unfortch have crazy skinny calves (like 12″) and ankles (6.5″) so the only dressy boots that don’t look baggy and ridic on me are the stretchy ones or super high end (Jimmy Choos, Loubies).
5.) Booties – High heeled or wedge. Perfect for wearing under pants or jeans and even with leggings.

It has been a looong time since I saw a bag that I actually wanted to purchase. Sure I cyber browse as much as the next girl, but for me to actually follow through and buy…let’s just say it’s been awhile! Until now. It was one of those when you know, you know moments. Seriously I am in LOVE, and it’s not even Gucci! From Diane Von Frustenberg this Harper evening clutch is nothing other than pure perfection. It has everything I want in a small bag. At 5″x9″x1″ it’s the perfect size for a night out on the town. And with a 9.5″ shoulder strap – just right for hanging on your shoulder or on the back of your chair. (I DESPISE cross body straps on evening bags!) And the looks…oh so gorgeous….with it’s smooth metal plate, chain and leather strap, luxe tassel and sumptious soft buttery leather. Did I mention I was in lust love? Apparently I am not the only one because it’s already sold out on ShopBop. $450 at Neiman Marcus.

I think we women like shoes because our feet can look good even if we are having a ‘bad hair’ or ‘fat day’. Here is a faboo sandal for just those days when you would rather people look at your feet and not the rest of you. These are by Vince Camuto. Named the ‘Martinique’ sandal and they are made from white leather embellished with rhinestones. Just the right amount of bling to look luxe without being over the top. I am definitely buying these for myself – really the perfect sandal to dress up a boring outfit or to get me through a bad day! $97.95 at Nordstrom.
