I’ve always liked Guiliana Rancic. She seems like a nice down to earth person and she and her hubby are a cute couple. I’ve always admired her figure too, until I read her blog on her diet secrets. There really is no secret to her thinness. It involves a lot of exercise and a super strict semi-starvation diet that is little more than grapefruit, steamed veggies, Kashi TLC bars and cayenne pepper laced water. While I commend her for admitting she works very hard to remain that thin (I’m sick of celebs who say, ‘oh, I just do yoga’), I love food too much to ever stick to a diet like that! What about you?

It has been a long, long, LONG time since we’ve posted anything fitness related. I blame the cold weather and the holidays! Unfortunately kitties, spring will be here in no time, which means smaller clothes and the extreme need to get back into shape! Enter: Lululemon. I cannot take credit for this discovery on my own (thanks to A for the tip!), but I just bought my first pair of WunderUnder crops (capri yoga pants) and a Swift Tank and am in LOVE. I have never felt so hot at the gym! The pants are way better than my Hardtails (they just don’t stretch out as much and sooo don’t get baggy!) The top, unbelievably flattering and made of the neatest stay cool (and low-stink!) material. I cannot wait to hit up the lululemon store (481 Broadway). Hopefully, these great clothes will inspire you (like they did me) to get your tush to the gym!

By now I am sure you’ve seen the commercials. The woman with the incredible behind? Well, if you haven’t- Reebok has just introduced EasyTone sneakers that allegedly tone your legs and butt as you walk, or even stand. How, you ask? Well, the sneakers create a natural instability through two balance pods centered on the heel and forefoot. Envision tiny stability balls on the bottom of your feet. Reebok claims that besides for providing a comfortable, low-impact cushion, this technology makes walking stimulate exercises that work the hamstrings, “buttocks” and calves. Seriously? If this works, I will never buy another sneaker again! Goodbye squats! I’m definitely going to head to my local Reebok store and try these on!

Ok, so I will admit it, I adore Kelly Ripa. She is cute, funny, in amazing shape AND from New Jersey. As if she didn’t have enough going for her (have you seen her hubby!?!), she is now the new face of Ryka!

Who says looking good has to end at the gym? I personally find that wearing cute workout clothes motivates me to go to the gym. I am always on the hunt for cute workout clothes that won’t break the bank because let’s face it they get worn and washed so often that you keep having to replace them. I’ve had lots of luck with workout clothes from H&M, Target and Althea. Workout clothes don’t need to be expensive since they really don’t last that long. How fabulous is this outfit? I know it motivates me to workout! Get it at Athleta!
