This has got to be a joke. But it isn’t. Chanel has come out with temporary tattoos…. or as they like to call them, “temporary skin art.” I usually adore everything Chanel, but um, I just can’t see why anyone would want this!!!! I agree they looked cool at the Chanel 2010 S/S runway show, but in real life? you’ve got to be kidding me… Alas, if this is your thing- available for $75 @ chanel.com.

A lens recently popped out of my beloved Versace sunglasses and I found myself in Neiman’s looking for a replacement. I was all set to spend several hundred dollars and indeed had a pair of Chanel’s in my hand, when the saleswoman suggested I try a pair of Ray Bans. Ray Ban I thought? How could they stack up against Chanel?! Wow, what a find! The $139 Ray Ban Jackie Ohh II sunglasses not only looked better on me than the $399 Chanel’s I was considering, but they were lighter in weight and MUCH more comfortable! Yes, it’s expensive. But it’s Chanel so one would expect it. It IS hands down the best lipgloss I have ever used. I am talking about Chanel’s Glossimer Lipgloss. Gorg colors and shimmer with decent staying power AND it actually conditions your lips. I have it in Hibiscus and Mirage. Seriously worth every penny. $27 at Saks. I love Chanel. I love makeup. And I am always on the go. So I was super excited to see Chanel come out with this fabulous travel cosmetic palette. I don’t like most travel palettes because I am really looking for something that does everything. Not just a bunch of eye shadows or lip glosses. This Chanel “Paris – New York” palette is the perfect answer. Three eyeshadows, three lipglosses, one blush and TWO shades of concealer. It’s (VERY)rare to find a palette that contains concealer! Simply bring along a travel mascara and compact you have a complete makeup kit! Perfect for sleepovers! (Not that us S&F girls would do that!) This is sold out everywhere, including the Chanel website, but Bloomies has them in stock - $85!

I love Chanel.I really do. But it is waaay out my price range, not to mention my demographic! Marc Jacob’s single is very Chanel like, yet it doesn’t have the airs or the price tag of it’s inspiration. A nice size at 8″x10″x3″ and a nicer price at $625! Available at Neiman’s.

I loveeee Chanel No.5. I mean what girl doesn’t? It smells divine and brings me back to wonderful childhood memories… of shopping… Simply fab! I cannot believe I didn’t know about the Chanel bath soaps earlier! They are available in classic No. 5, fresh Coco Mademoiselle and the floral Allure. The bars themselves are logo embossed and luxurious. They look amazing in a simple soap dish and will def have guests (the snobby ones at least) talking. Every good hostess knows, you gotta keep earning the title! The BEST part- ONLY $24!!!! Totally an affordable delight!
