Many moons ago Coach started my handbag obsession. And while I think they have amazing quality, their styles bored me after a couple of years and I moved on to other designers. It didn’t help that the ubiquitous “C C” logoed bags were on the arm of every teenybopper in America. Other than shoes, wallets and travel bags, I don’t own any Coach items now and I rarely look at their handbags. So I did a double take the other day when I stumbled across the New Kristin Hobo. At $298 this is truly a find! No logos, just sumptious buttery leather! The style is almost art deco-ish. And I love that it comes with both a shorter and a longer strap. This bag comes in a variety of colors, but personally I like the one pictured below – par-fay for spring! Available at Macy’s and Coach online.

I admit, I haven’t carried a Coach bag in years. About the time where they transitioned from well made leather bags to the canvas “C” covered tackiness is where they lost me. They are definitely winning me back with this bag though! The Kristin Leather Satchel is beautiful AND practical. It looks like a bag that should cost hundreds more. And it has a simple elegance about it - not a “C” in site! Great price too – $358 at Nordstroms!
Some people think you can never be too rich or too thin. Not sure if I believe in that, but I DO believe that your heels can never be high enough!
