LOVE this dress by Michael Kors. LOVE! The draping in the front is super flattering. The length young, but sophisticated. Business in the front, party in the back… Oh wait, that refers to mullets. But it’s kinda applicable here too! The back is super sexy! And the color!? Thistle- which is a soft lavendar is perfect for the Spring and will easily take you in summer… Now, if I could just come up with $1395…

I feel like running around like I’m in Chicken Little screaming “the sky is falling, the sky is falling” or maybe hell did really freeze over? Well whatever the cause, I bought a dress from Guess. Yes, Guess. The one with all the spandex and tacky tack. First off, I think this just goes to show that you can’t judge a book by its cover, or a store by its slutty manequins. The Raquel dress is a beautiful cream, 100% silk dress with the greatest shape and the cutest belt. I stand by this purchase and am thrilled with the way the dress looks. I’ve realized I will proudly proclaim Guess Marciano when asked where I got it from and throw old prejudices out the window! Guess an old kittie CAN learn new tricks! (and at least it wasn’t Bebe lol)
Available from Guess Marciano for $158.00

Tommy Hilfiger launched his new Spring campaign with a focus on retro and “Miami-living” (whatever that means!?). But it does mean extremely cute looks. I adore this dress. Simple, preppy, great shape- very me. I wish I could find more pics for you kitties, but trust me the bikinis and skirts in this line are amazing! I cannot wait to figure out how to get my hands on some of these pieces! (and don’t worry, when I do I’ll pass the info along!)

Forced me to buy another Spring dress that is! First off, I love that this dress is called the Connect Four Reina, secondly I love that it is only $395, thirdly I love the look! It is perfect for work with a black cardi or a suit jacket (if you’re forced to be business formal like me) and is the perfect dress to wear with some beautiful colored pumps or sandals! The ruffles, exposed zipper and cut are modern and on trend, while the print and fabric (silk douppioni) is classic. Overall, adorable!

Ok the trends for this Spring’s dresses are just SO completely up my alley. Flirty & feminine, the pale colors are knotted, draped and ruched into the best shapes. LOVE! You will definitely see (if you haven’t already!) these dresses on all the celebs splashed across all the mags. Can’t wait to head to bergdorf to try some on! Unfortunately, one will set you back $2-$3K… hey, a girl can dream….
