I love it when you can shop for a cause! Kitties, this one is a real deal. I present, the Michael Kors Berkley Clutch. I am VERY picky about my handbags. When I find something I love I tend to stick with it day in and day out until I tire of it. So it has to be love at first sight when I buy a bag – after all I will be spending a lot of quality time with it! I saw this Ferragamo bag this morning and my heart skipped a beat! I am even more in love now that I’ve seen their Fall / Winter 09 collection. I have never seen such a stunning collection of bags! There isn’t a bad one in the bunch. I love love love the Crest Boule Fabric tote. Miss Smart and I saw this particular handbag in Budapest last month and let me tell you it was drop dead gorgeous! It has everything you look for in a bag: lightweight, gorgeous hardware, leather trim and best of all it’s not logo-infested! We were seriously drooling over this bag and so bummed that it was sold out when we went back to buy it! (Lesson learned, when you see something you absolutely love buy it because there is bound to be someone else who loves it as much as you do!) The beige / black diamond fabric on this bag is vintage Gucci and it’s as lovely and fresh as it was back then. This bag looks very rich and refined in person without being in your face. Buy it now from Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf’’s or Gucci. Don’t delay!
Oh Juicy! Your NON embellished tracksuits are o.k. and while it’s ridiculous to pay almost $200 for a glorified sweat suit, they are functional and have their use. Ditto for their non embellished terry dresses / beach cover-ups and even some of their shoes. But their handbags? Oy vey! No one over the age of 13 should carry these bags. It’s like they started by taking their ugliest tracksuits from the clearance bin and made handbags out of them. Then they stuck the leftover pieces of logos, glitter and tassels from the cutting room floor all over them. Subtle is not the look they were going for! My advice? Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
