I’ve made no secret of my love for the Marc by Marc Jacobs line. IMO better than the pricier signature Marc Jacobs line. The designs are cooler and honestly the quality is the same. I think Marc by Marc Jacobs is the best handbag designer in the $500 and under category, especially for those who don’t want to follow the crowd. (I am talking about you, Coach lovers!) Marc does it again with this new fabuloosh bag. The Leola zip hobo incorporates the zipper trend flawlessly while being a very practical bag. Very tempted to pick one up for myself in this perfect-for-spring ivory. Also available in black. $498 at Neiman’s.

I’ve always loved the Marc by Marc Jacobs line over the more expensive The Marc Jacobs Collection. The bag designs are fresher, the colors trendier, overall it seems like a much better value. Take the newest Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, the Classic Q Aiden Baby Satchel. To me this is handbag perfection: just the right size, gorgeous satchel shape, rich olive color, zippered top, etc. At $458 this looks like a handbag that costs three times as much! If I weren’t on a bag ban (more about my newest purchase in another post) I would buy this. Available at Neiman’s.
