OH Valentino! I love you. Really I do. Behind Gucci you are one of my favorite designers. I love girly and I love roses, two things you usually do really well. But this is beyond hideous! Your new Alice satchel has a leather rose overlay with beige mesh inserts. I’m sorry but this looks like something you would pick up on Canal Street for your 84 year old Grammy. Come to think of it the beige mesh insert reminds me of support hose! In any case at $2795 drop the last two digits off the price and I still wouldn’t buy it!

I seem to be having a love affair with Valentino lately. I don’t know what it is, the bags just speak to me. So completely different and feminine than what else is out there. And definitely not something you are going to see on everyone’s arm! The latest from Valentino is their Rouches Hobo. So pretty! It reminds me of cascading roses. This comes in both taupe and black, but I prefer the taupe. Imagine getting this instead of a dozen roses for Valentine’s Day! $2500 at Neiman’s.

It was inevitable. My ban on buying bags just had to be tempted. I think I am in love! Again! And she is a beauty! Am oh-so-tempted…someone please talk me out of it! This shiny Napa Rose bag is 13 1/2″ x 16″ x 7 1/2″ with a framed top, adjustable shoulder straps, 1 zippered and two opened compartments and my fav – protective metal feet. All topped of with the most delicious looking oversized rosette on the front. At $1595. I seriously must have this bag! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Someone talk me out of it – please!
